I spent all last night avoiding being eaten by zombies.
Luckily they were the slow lumbering ones and I was able to barricade myself safely inside my house until I woke up.
As I ate my bowl of yogurt and blueberries this morning I started thinking how safe my house was in the event of a zombie attack. Overall I think it could be barricaded pretty well although there are definite weaknesses, namely my bedroom window. I sat and thought of what I could do to stop zombies from breaking the window and getting inside. I also started thinking about what I would grab if they managed to get in.
I settled on a hammer and a baseball bat. What do you have to do to kill a zombie? I think I'd have to bat in its head although I'm really not sure.
I guess I'd just have to swing at it until I figured it out.

a little introspection
Its been a while . . .
I guess when you're busy you're busy. I've missed writing, jotting down my thoughts, deciding what I'm ok with people knowing and what I want to keep special, just for me.
I work now.
A lot.
In the end its good, its great even, but its taken away the time i was honoured to give to my own little artistic expression, writing.
I'm surrounded by a lot of artistic people and I love it. I get to talk to artists, actors, filmmakers and graphic designers and I'm constantly amazed and slightly jealous of their creative process and talent. See I can't paint or draw, I can't act or sing that well and I certainly can't make a website look beautiful. And sometimes I wonder; being surrounded by all this tactile talent, what I can offer.
Its a question I've been thinking a lot about lately. What makes me . . . me? I can't say I've really found the answer and I'm slowly growing alright with the fact that I haven't.
Or at least I'm growing alright with the fact its taking some time to grow alright with it.
